Advocating for the Community

Landmark SAS HOA serves as an independent technology and telecommunications advisor for HOA and Condominium Associations. We help communities evaluate internet and fiber providers, review vendor proposals, analyze contracts and pricing, compare competing solutions, negotiate improved terms, and plan for future technology needs.

Most importantly, we help Boards make informed decisions based on facts, data, and community needs, not sales presentations.

No. We do not own a fiber network, provide internet service, sell television services, or install infrastructure. We work alongside communities as an advisor and advocate throughout the evaluation process.

Transparency is important to us. Landmark SAS HOA maintains relationships with numerous service providers. If a community selects a provider through a process in which we were involved, we may receive compensation from that provider pursuant to existing business agreements.

There is no direct cost to the HOA or Condominium Association, no consulting fees, no invoices billed to the community, no hidden fees charged to residents. Our compensation structure allows communities to access professional advisory services without increasing association expenses.

This is one of the most important questions we receive. Our reputation depends on maintaining trust with the communities we serve. Our business model is built on long-term relationships, not one-time transactions.

We evaluate providers based on service quality, reliability, resident experience, financial value, technology capabilities, contract flexibility, customer support, and long-term community goals, not compensation alone.

Many times, communities select providers that differ from original expectations because our evaluation process identifies a solution that better aligns with their needs. Our role is to educate and advocate, not sell.

Residents today use significantly more bandwidth than ever before. Common applications include streaming television, remote work, video conferencing, online education, gaming, smart home devices, security systems, and telehealth services.

Fiber infrastructure is designed to support these growing demands while providing greater reliability and scalability than traditional cable or DSL alternatives.

Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) is a network architecture that delivers fiber optic connectivity directly to each residence or unit. Benefits may include faster internet speeds, lower latency, greater reliability, better support for multiple connected devices, and increased capacity for future technologies.

Not necessarily. Every community has different needs. Factors we evaluate include community demographics, existing infrastructure, property layout, resident expectations, current provider performance, budget considerations, and future growth plans.

The right solution is the one that best serves the community, not necessarily the newest or most expensive option.

A bulk agreement allows the Association to negotiate services for the entire community. Instead of residents purchasing individual services separately, the community contracts for service on behalf of all residents, often resulting in better pricing and consistent service levels across the property.

In many cases, yes. Because providers gain access to an entire community, they may offer reduced pricing, enhanced speed packages, additional service features, improved support structures, and infrastructure investments.

However, not all bulk agreements provide the same value. Every agreement should be carefully evaluated before a commitment is made.

Key considerations include contract length, renewal language, price escalation clauses, service guarantees, resident satisfaction, future technology flexibility, infrastructure ownership, and exit provisions.

A lower monthly price does not always result in the best long-term agreement. We help communities look beyond the headline rate to understand the full picture.

Competition benefits communities. When multiple providers are evaluated, Boards gain better visibility into pricing structures, service offerings, technology differences, customer support capabilities, infrastructure investments, and contract terms.

Communities that compare options often negotiate stronger agreements and achieve better outcomes for residents.

Yes. While the final decision always belongs to the Board, we can help facilitate discussions and identify opportunities for better pricing, improved service levels, infrastructure enhancements, additional resident benefits, and stronger contract protections.

Our objective is simple: better service, better pricing, and better solutions. We work to ensure communities understand their options and have access to the information necessary to make informed decisions.

We ask questions providers may not volunteer. We review details that may be overlooked. We help communities understand both the advantages and potential limitations of each solution. Most importantly, we help Boards avoid making decisions based solely on marketing materials or sales presentations.

Our relationship does not necessarily end after a contract is signed. We can continue supporting communities by assisting with implementation planning, facilitating provider communication, reviewing service concerns, helping evaluate future opportunities, and providing ongoing industry insight.

Our goal is to support long-term community success, not just close a transaction.
